SUMMARY:Local Music at the Common- Maine Middle Eastern Ensemble
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy local music every other Saturday this summer in the Common!\n \n\n \n \nOctober 7- Maine Middle Eastern Ensemble performs folk\, classical and art music from the Turkish\, Arabic\, Armenian and Greek traditions. Led by multi-instrumentalist\, Eric LaPerna\, the group also features guitarist\, Jeremey Zela; upright bass player Duane Edwards; percussionists\, Doug Andrews and Dorothy Barker\, as well as other musicians from Maine’s vibrant Middle Eastern music scene. \n \n \n \n \n \n \nRESCHEDULED TO 10/14\nOctober 14 – Maine Middle Eastern Ensemble\n \nThe Westbrook Hoop Group will be joining in on the fun- dancing and hula hooping! They will have extra hoops if you’d like to learn or show off your skills.\nDiscover Downtown Westbrook is hosting a variety of free & fun events at Westbrook Common all summer long.
