This year we are launching a Downtown Westbrook Holiday Gift Giving Guide. This is a great opportunity to learn about local products being sold at our local businesses.
The Holiday Gift Giving Guide is a great resource if you’re still trying to finish up some holiday shopping, and the best part…you can support our local businesses at the same time!
Annual Window Display Competition
We will also be hosting our 1st Annual Window Display Competition. Businesses will be encouraged to decorate their storefront windows throughout the month of December. We will be hosting a friendly competition where visitors can vote for their favorite window displays. Voting will take place from December 6 through December 27th; winners will be announced on December 29th!

Light Up Westbrook & Discover Downtown Westbrook Ribbon Cutting
Discover Downtown has a new office. We hosted a ribbon-cutting at our new office on December 8th at 5:00 pm at 816 Main Street. This was a great opportunity to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and a cookie and stroll downtown while seeing Westbrook’s amazing holiday light display! Other businesses stayed open late, offering drink and food specials as well.
