Get to Know Westbrook with the Westbrook Historical Society

Join the great talent at the Westbrook Historical Society each Sunday of Winterfest (February 21 and 28, March 7, 14, 21 and 28) who will be featuring a video to enhance our local knowledge – the first episode will be a tour of the gem of a location they have for all of us to visit – tune in to learn a little history of Westbrook.  What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon when it’s cold outside!

Halidon Road is more than a location off East Bridge Street. It is also a place with an interesting historical significance.  Paul St. Cyr gives an inside view of  “Halidon,”Westbrook’s little known single tax colony, as well as his ancestors participation in the movement.
