Volunteers are vital to all National Main Street communities. There are active board members, teams covering all aspects of downtown revitalization, event day volunteers that make sure events (everything from races to fundraisers to ribbon cuttings) run smoothly, and more. The teams in particular are the heart of the organization, each covering one point of the Main Street Four-Point Approach: Design, Economic Vitality, Organization, and Promotion. In 2016, the organization conducted a strategic planning process to develop our Mission and Vision, and from that, the board and teams develop their work plans each year.
