Discover Downtown Westbrook launched the inaugural gala in 2024 as a way to celebrate all things Westbrook, including the city’s vibrant arts and music scene, bustling and diverse array of small businesses, and beautiful outdoor spaces.
Proceeds from the event directly benefit Discover Downtown Westbrook’s mission to promote, enhance, and showcase the unique charm and offerings of our downtown district.
The Gala returns to Brea Lu again this year. A longtime standard on Forest Avenue in Portland known for its classic breakfast dishes, sandwich staples, and rotating specials, Brea Lu relocated to Westbrook in 2016 before moving into an even larger nearby space, at 511 Main Street, in 2024.
