Discover Downtown Westbrook follows three core transformational strategies in its endeavors to make Westbrook a walkable, livable, thriving place. Based on Main Street America’s Four Point approach, these strategies enable the organization to best serve the Westbrook community and remain focused on our core priorities.
1. River and Riverwalk
Goal: To develop and promote the river and Riverwalk as a family-friendly destination to enjoy recreation, shopping, and dining.
2. New businesses and residents
Goal: To strengthen Westbrook’s position as an attractive choice for residents and businesses . . . by quickly connecting people to helpful, accurate information.
3. Creative Haven
Goal: To develop downtown Westbrook as a creative haven with a specialty food and arts scene.
