The Second Annual Paper City Pitch Contest successfully supported and showcased local entrepreneurship, bringing together small business owners, funders, and community partners for an evening focused on innovation and economic vitality! What an incredible night!

Hosted at Owlbear’s Rest, the event featured pitches from seven Westbrook-based and regional entrepreneurs representing a diverse range of industries, including personal care, wellness, food, and retail. Financial and in-kind support from Maine Technology Institute, Bath Savings, and Evergreen Credit Union made the event possible, while a panel of experienced judges from the economic development and finance sectors provided valuable feedback and evaluation.
The Pitch Contest strengthened connections between entrepreneurs and resource providers, elevated local businesses, and reinforced Discover Downtown Westbrook’s commitment to fostering small business growth and a vibrant local economy.
