Heather Smith works in Asset and Tenant Management at J.B. Brown & Sons and joined the Discover Downtown Westbrook Board of Directors in 2026. She brings a diverse range of experience in commercial real estate, event planning, fundraising, compliance and risk management, and community engagement. Throughout her career. Heather has developed a strong passion for building relationships, supporting local businesses, and contributing to the organizations and communities she serves. She has also dedicated many years to volunteering with nonprofit organizations in various roles.
Heather lives in Portland with her husband and two daughters, and has family roots in the City of Westbrook that span more than 100 years. Her long-standing connection to Westbrook gives her a personal appreciation for the community, its history, and its continued growth and revitalization.
Outside of work and community involvement, Heather enjoys spending time with friends and family, attending sporting events, and traveling.
