Chance lives and works in Westbrook and is passionate about his community and making a difference through public service and nonprofit work. A lifelong resident of Westbrook, Chance graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a dual BA in Political Science and History.
Chance has been involved in government and civic engagement since he was 16 years old, when he served as a student representative on the School Board and as Class President for two years. While attending college, he served in student government for two and a half years, including one and a half years as Chair of the Student Senate.
Chance became involved with DDW after volunteering to lead a Jane’s Walk through Westbrook’s historic downtown. Through this work, he hopes to bring greater attention to the rich history and stories that make Westbrook such a special community.
In his free time, Chance enjoys playing video games, gardening, reading, spending time with his wife, and exploring history.
