Dustin Sleight became a Discover Downtown Westbrook Board member in 2026. He is a Senior Engineering Manager at IDEXX Laboratories, where he leads teams focused on manufacturing innovation, automation, and emerging technologies. Outside of work, Dustin has a lifelong passion for the arts and enjoys finding common ground between technical problem-solving and creative storytelling.
Since moving to Westbrook in 2016, Dustin has enjoyed becoming involved in the community through volunteer service, including the Westbrook Public Safety Commission and Maine Odyssey of the Mind. He believes a vibrant downtown creates opportunities for connection, local business, and community pride.
Dustin lives in Westbrook with his wife, Maryann, their dog Doug, and cats Judy and Roger. When he has free time, you’ll usually find him playing hockey, writing, or exploring new restaurants, events, and businesses around Greater Portland.
