Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
Westbrook’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony! Join us on Sunday, December 7, from 4:45 to 5:30 PM in Riverbank Park as we kick off the holiday season together.
This festive tradition is hosted by the Westbrook–Gorham Chamber of Commerce and our new Westbrook Together Organization. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Holiday Market on the Common
Join us for the Westbrook Holiday Market at Westbrook Common on Sunday, December 14th, from 2-5 pm!
Discover 12 local makers, creators, and vendors
offering unique, handcrafted goods—perfect for holiday gifting (or a treat for yourself!). Warm up with hot drinks and s’mores while you browse.
Vendors will be set up along the sides of Westbrook Common, and at least one fire pit will be at the center of the venue for marshmallow roasting. There will also be live holiday music to enjoy while you shop!
Please consider bringing a donation for the Westbrook Food Pantry to support our community this season!
Buy Westbrook – Gift Giving Guide 2025!
Each year, Discover Downtown Westbrook creates a Gift Giving Guide to encourage us all to #BuyWestbrook and support our local businesses. Many of our Westbrook businesses offer amazing holiday gifts. This year, we have over 25 Westbrook businesses in our gift guide – check out the digital version below!
We will have printed Gift Giving Guides at the Westbrook Annual Tree Lighting on Sunday, December 7th, and at our Holiday Market on Sunday, December 14th.
Gift cards make great gifts, too! Many of our downtown restaurants and businesses also have great swag – great for gift-giving!

Window Display Contest
To complement the beautiful light display downtown, Discover Downtown Westbrook hosts an Annual Window Display Competition!
Businesses are encouraged to have their windows decorated by December 7th to be eligible to win. Voting will be open to the public from December 8th to 17th, and the winners will be announced and awarded on Thursday, December 18th!
This is a free, no-registration-required opportunity to join in the holiday fun and encourage people to enjoy Westbrook’s holiday spirit. We encourage all our storefront businesses to join in! Participating stores will have a QR code in their window so you can vote on your favorite!
